A wonderful variety of people – with different interests, hobbies, and talents – call Trilogy home.  Thanks to the extensive list of Community Clubs that have been formed at each community, it’s easy for members to connect with others who share their passions and interests.  Here’s another sampling of the current Community Clubs that are active at the Trilogy communities.  (Discover even more Trilogy clubs in the past blog posts “Ten Trilogy Clubs” and “Eight Great Trilogy Clubs.”)

These groups always extend a warm welcome to new members – so if you decide to make Trilogy your home, you can check out the full list of active community clubs on MyTrilogyLife.com.

Encanterra Country Club
Community Garden Club
The Community Garden Club is a social club through which Encanterra members can share their experience and knowledge with fellow gardeners. One of the Community Garden Club’s first projects was creating the ‘Chef’s Garden,’ which is located just outside the Bistro 1528 kitchen.  Several community members planted seasonal herbs and greens, to be utilized by Chef Brandon and the culinary team of Bistro 1528.  With generous help from Shea Homes, the first raised bed was installed with a full irrigation system to help the plants and veggies through the ‘dog days of summer’.  Members are also bringing up colorful pots, tastefully displayed with seasonal herbs.   The club’s spring planting is now complete and growing.  Plants include peppers, basil, mint and a few tomatoes to test the sun/location.  All Encanterra members are invited to stop by for a visit, or to bring up their own decorative planting pots of herbs, vegetables, or flowers for fun and color.

Trilogy at Monarch Dunes
The “What’s Cooking?” Club
What’s Cooking is a community club for people who love to cook.  Members participate in themed meals in which everyone takes a portion of the meal to prepare.  They share recipes, cooking techniques, and ideas. They are also interested in attending cooking classes and demonstrations from local chefs or cooks.  For this fun group of home cooks, it’s all about the love of food preparation and presentation.  Members gather monthly to share the food that they’ve passionately prepared with their friends and neighbors at Trilogy at Monarch Dunes.

Trilogy at Redmond Ridge
Genealogy Club
The goal of the Genealogy Club members is to explore their ancestors’ lives in order to gain new perspectives, and to pass on their family’s cumulative history to their grandchildren and other younger members of their family.  They hope to learn from one another and from guest speakers how to find information, how to use some of the genealogical software programs, how to record it, and how to organize all of their information into various formats.  All members who are interested in learning more about their family history are welcome to join the club.

All Trilogy Communities
Connecting Across the Table
At each of the Trilogy communities, members are connecting with old friends, meeting new members, and enjoying some friendly competition through cards and games.  Members can either officially join a community club, or simply drop in at the weekly or bi-weekly club gatherings to play bridge, canasta, hand and foot, mah jongg, pinochle, dominoes,  blackjack, Texas Hold’Em, and many more!  If there isn’t currently an organized group playing your favorite card game, you can always reach out to the Trilogy Activity Directors to let them know that you’d like to start a new card or game club at your community.

Trilogy at Rio Vista
Writers’ Club
The Trilogy at Rio Vista Writers’ Club includes poets, lyricists, and authors of various genres. Some have been writing for years, while others have only recently found they have the time and desire to put their thoughts on paper. Members enjoy listening to their fellow writers’ latest compositions and discovering new talents within the group. They meet monthly to encourage, support and appreciate all Trilogy members who love to write.  All writers – experienced or budding – are invited to join the club.

Trilogy at Rio Vista
Table Tennis Club
The Table Tennis Club of Trilogy at Rio Vista is a group of table tennis fans with various degrees of skill at the game.  What these members have in common is that they love to play for sport and for fun. Many of them hadn’t played table tennis since their children left home – or even since they were children themselves.  They have been amazed and gratified at how fast they can improve just by playing regularly and encouraging each other.

Shea Homes at Ardiente
Ardiente Community Hiking Enthusiasts (A.C.H.E.)
This group of homeowners will inspire you to get off the sofa and enjoy the great outdoors through regular, local hikes. There are many levels of hiking experience within this group, so all are welcome to join, even those who have never before stepped foot on a hiking trail. The A.C.H.E. meet twice a month on the second and fourth Saturday and generally have lunch together after each hike.  Happy trails!

Trilogy at the Vineyards
Bowling Club
Looking for fun?  Then let’s bowl!  All Trilogy at the Vineyards members are welcome to join in the friendly competition of the Bowling Club.  This club has ten lanes reserved for each of their gatherings, so there’s plenty of room for everyone – whether you’re known for bowling strikes or more often end up in the gutter.  It’s all about having a great time with your Vineyards friends and neighbors.

Trilogy Orlando
Trilogy Arts & Crafts Club
Life is beautiful – especially when you’re surrounded by a community of artisans and crafters.  The Trilogy Arts & Crafts Club organizes workshops and demonstrations (often led by talented Trilogy artists), as well as group sessions where artists and crafters can gather together in the Art Studio to gain inspiration from each other’s work. Members are encouraged to bring whatever they happen to be working on at the moment to the group sessions to share in the camaraderie and skill exchange.  The Arts & Crafts Club also makes visiting grandchildren feel right at home, as members are invited to bring their young guests to the Art Studio to choose from several crafts.  There’s something fun and inspiring for all ages!

Trilogy at Vistancia
Trilogy Roadrunners Car Club
The Trilogy Roadrunners Club was formed by car enthusiasts who wanted to share their joy of the open road with others who enjoy the same.  They do not discriminate as to make, model or year of the car. Any Trilogy at Vistancia members who love to drive are invited to join the FUN!  This club has monthly car runs, put together by club members, which are discussed at their monthly meetings held on the first Tuesday of each month.  They also host an annual charity car show in which their wonderful wheels are put on display for a worthy cause.  (Proceeds from this year’s car show will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.)
