Trilogy® at Lake Frederick recently celebrated the first anniversary of its new Lodge, athletic club, and restaurant! The 36,000-square-foot Shenandoah Lodge & Athletic Club and on-site Region’s 117 restaurant opened up last summer and have been a huge success ever since.

Region’s 117’s farm-to-table cuisine has already received two “Diner’s Choice” awards and has been named one of the 100 best brunch spots in America by the website Open Table, while Trilogy® at Lake Frederick has been named one of the 50 Best Master-Planned Communities in the United States by Where to Retire magazine. The Shenandoah Lodge has also hosted a number of weddings at its location since opening.

Jason King, general manager of the community, says the Lodge and Region’s 117 were the final pieces of the puzzle to really bring the community together and that the Lodge has made a big impact both in bringing residents together and drawing in visitors from the surrounding area.

The Shenandoah Lodge, athletic club, and restaurant were designed to serve as the social and activity hub of the community, hosting events for the active-adult community’s residents and featuring fine food and wine from the greater Virginia region. The restaurant, which is open to the public, features locally sourced ingredients including apples, cherries, seasonal vegetables and herbs grown on site in a nearby Chef’s Garden. The lodge also features Inglenook, a tavern bar, and The Market Place general store, which sells local gifts and gourmet food items.
