Meet Avis Quinlan, Senior Community Representative at Jubilee
Meet Avis Quinlan, our newest Senior Community Representative and Employee of the Month!
Avis was born in Portland, Oregon, raised in Enumclaw, Washington, and graduated from Tacoma-based Annie Wright High School. She got her bachelor’s degree in human research and psychology from Western Washington University.
Following her college graduation, Avis spent time traveling and learning Spanish in Guatemala. She came back to Washington, started law school at the University of Puget Sound, and graduated in ‘82 after completing an exciting externship giving voluntary law seminars, learning navigation, and being part of the crew aboard the Training Ship Golden Bear which traveled to and from Panama.
Following this adventure, Avis took a job in Los Angeles doing immigration law and discovered law just wasn’t a great fit for her. She then worked as a volunteer for many years and even traveled to Bali to teach English after earning another degree in spiritual psychology.
A talented lifelong learner, Avis came back to Washington to start a new chapter and get her Real Estate license, combining all that she’s learned throughout her travels and education in law and psychology.
Avis started working at Shea Homes® at Jubilee® this June, and we are very excited to have her positive spirit on our team! When Avis isn’t working with our guests, she loves doing yoga, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family, including her daughter, who inherited her mother’s genes and recently graduated from USC.
Stop by the Tour Center to say “hello” to Avis. She is happy to help answer your questions about Shea Homes at Jubilee!
